ENHANCING THE ROOT

In my last blog, we discussed the Root Chakra, its element ( earth) and its sense ( smell), its mantra ( " I have"). If you were attracted to the affirmations and are wondering how to enhance this, here are some ideas. ( Virgos Capricorns, and Taurains will be attracted to this esp as they are earth signs themselves. Taurus is about as earth as you can go.)One can use scents such as cedar, cloves and pepper. They are cloying and earthy. You can go to BODY AND BATH WORKS on line and type in one of the above, including pepper. The site will check on all the notes of their various lines and come up with a cologne that has one of those scents as part of the notes to the cologne. One can wear the color RED. This is esp a great color esp if you are the above mentioned sign. It can be seen as a power color. I am talking RED here, not a dark pink. but beware: red is stimulating and energizing. It is a shaker and a mover. If you are pone to anger then this may not be the color choice to you. At least tone it down with white. IF a person has an angry disposition, then there is no good in inflaming self more. Avoid anger! Seek peace!Meanwhile, gemstones that are root-enhancing are bloodstone and agate. Hematite is a black stone but very good for cleansing. Ruby is an obvious choice. You can get these on line, at jewelry stores and some at Natural History Museums. People enjoy tumbled stones as the energy is easier to pick up And they just feel good. Fate Magazine has offers for good prices.Mediate on the mantra. Remember the Universal law of Attraction... Pray as IF YOU HAVE IT ALREADY. Your mantra is " I HAVE'. An example might be , " I have security. I have a firm belief in my abilities. " " I have a rooted attachment to life."Try it and see!
